A familiar face has moved in with former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle.
Valarie Jarrett, a long-time top adviser to the former president, has moved into the Obamas’ new multi-million dollar home in Washington, D.C., according to the Daily Mail.
After leaving the White House, Barack and Michelle Obama moved to the Kalorama neighborhood neighborhood in the nation’s capital just two miles away from their former home.
Jarrett is one of Barack Obama’s closest and longest serving advisers. She would often travel with the Obamas when they went on vacation and attended family dinners in the private residence of the White House. Jarrett was dubbed the “The Night Stalker” by other White House staffers because she was often seen following Obama from the West Wing to the private residence.
According to the Daily Mail, Jarrett has moved in with the Obamas so she could work closely with former president on his post-presidency plans and travel around the world with Michelle Obama. One of those post-presidency plans is reportedly to undermine his successor, President Donald Trump.
