Former national security adviser Michael Flynn is moving to withdraw from his plea deal “because of the government’s bad faith, vindictiveness and breach of the plea agreement.”

General Flynn had previously pleaded guilty to lying to federal investigators in December 2017 regarding discussions he had with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak during the presidential transition before Trump assumed the Oval Office.

The railroading of Gen. Flynn occurred during the time when the deep state was scrambling to concoct a trail indicating Russian collusion. This led to FBI spook Robert Mueller’s embarrassing special counsel investigation that ultimately failed at ousting President Trump.

Gen. Flynn’s lawyers claim in a court filing that prosecutors attempted to coerce their client into providing “false” testimony. They claim prosecutors wanted Flynn to say that he “knew and intended” to sign erroneous filings regarding his lobbying work in Turkey, and therefore break his plea agreement by not telling the truth.
