Senator Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) told Fox News on Thursday that as far as he is aware, there is no evidence of collusion between President Trump and Russia. Graham’s comments came during an interview with Jenna Lee on “America’s News HQ.”
“There is no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians that I’ve seen as of this date,” Graham said. “I do not believe the president himself is a target or subject of any criminal investigation as of right now. So, that’s what I know right now and where this goes I don’t know. Follow the facts where they lead.”
Graham’s statement came a day after former FBI Director Rob Mueller was appointed as special counsel to oversee the probe into Russian interference and related investigations.
